Haven't been to AZ......yet, but researching places to stay came across these 2:

Kiva RV Park & Horse Motel in Bernardo

Cedar Crest Stables, I believe is just east of Phoenix.

check out Horspitality RV camp in Wickenburg, just west of Phoenix.  You can ride out their back gate and have miels of trails.  They have 90 stalls and lots of RV hookups.  Wickenburg is a cool little cowboy town with lots of horse activities.  Lots of northern folks spend the winter here.

bloodtrail- the two places you are talking about Kiva RV Park and Horse Motel in Bernardo is in New Mexico just off interstate 25 south of Albuquerque and Cedar Crest Stable is east of Albuquerque just off interstate 40. Both are a long way from Phoenix. 8-10 hr drive. I drive by the Kiva place when I drive up to Albuquerque and looks so-so. Never seen the Cedar Crest place. If looking for Phx areas look at an on line newspaper called Bid and Bridle they have listing for lots of places in AZ.

NM Rider,

You are correct!!!  Sorry 'bout the misinformation.

Dummy me, was looking for a place about halfway for me to get to AZ/NM  border!

Thanks for correcting my post.
