Location: Northern Utah		I bought a 4" thick memory foam from overstock.com a few weeks ago. I've only camped out once since buying it. ( rain won't go away) and it was comfotable. I wonder about long term use. I need to have my wife make a cover to protect it against my teenage girls sliding in and out of the gooseneck.

We have one on an older mattress in our LQ.They are nice,but,they can be hot to sleep on, especially during summer.

Have one over a Walmart inflatable mattress.  Best sleep I've found other than my bed at home.
