I have a outlaw lq with the 3.0 fridge.  I've had the trailer for about 3 yrs, bought it barely used.  Anyway, no problems the entire time and now the fridge does not cool down.  I have checked the breaker and the fuse and they seem to be fine.  Is there anything else that can cause this besides it just going out.  It won't work at all on electric and on lp gas, the grille in the back will just barely get cool, but nothing else.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Is it perfectly level?  Has it ever been run when it's not level?  If so, then it could be ruined.  Perhaps the thermostat went out?

Always been level, have not done anything different than I have the last three years and it worked perfect.  I put a thermometer in it last night, turned it on all night on electric and it hasn't dropped at all.

It sounds as if your refrigerant might be low. I've read where some owners have removed the refrigerators, turned them upside down and shook them up a little. After reinstalling them, they again worked. I had one fail to work on gas, and found a critter nest blocking things.

The ammonia gas units are pretty reliable, and with few moving parts, are long lasting. A RV technician could probably quickly trouble shoot your fridge. Recharging is not an involved process, and is far less expensive than a replacement.

I recently had to pull the vent cover to check my fridge and one of the "dillies" (highly specific technical term) had come unplugged. There were four wires with litte dillies on the end and one had worked loose. You might want to check that too. My trailer does have to be on level ground for the fridge to work too.

Dillies, are the same as dealies, and thingamajigs, and dealiwhoppers, and dumeafloppies.  Gotta check them!

Ok, here's what I found.  I took the cover off to check the thingamijigs and doohickies.  I found that the fridge was plugged into an outlet.  I thought it was hardwired in but it wasn't.  I plugged a small portable fan into the outlet that the fridge was and it wouldn't work.  AAAhhhh we are getting somewhere.  I plugged it into several other outlets....nothing.....I'm thinking breakers or fuses or something....I look down at the lp detector and see the plug with the reset button that's been thrown and a little yellow light is on. WWWaaahhhlaaa, push the reset button everything works. I keep the trailer plugged into the shop and we lost power last week for a couple hours and I'm thinking it could've popped then.

Thanks everyone for all your help and suggestions...I probably just saved a couple hundred dollars and that's almost 10 gallons of gas....THANKS AGAIN
