Help!  I have been offered a chance to purchase a 1998 sundowner sunlite 2 horse slant load with a front tack room & rear saddle rack area. It has an escape door on the side and 2 drop down windows on both sides. Does any one know what this would be worth??? It is in very good condition even though it is 9 years old. These folks are the original owners and they keep it parked under a shed. Probably have not used it 20 times total. What is the resale value? I'd appreciate any input!

I will say that having drop-downs on both butt and head are a real plus to me.  My trailer has them and they provide a very light and well aired environment to the horses.

yes, $8000. A little high for my budget but it may be worth it. I looked on this site as ya'll suggested and from what I can tell, they seem to hold their value pretty well. Thanks for the input!

Sounds reasonable, esp. if A1 condition.  Check the tires and brakes......Repeat after me - tires and brakes.  Low pressure, even on a short haul, will cause them to wear unevenly - #1 failure in trailer tires. Look at the tread for high and low spots.  #2 is weather checking.  Tires need to be used, so when they sit in the bright sun for weeks or months at a time, the UV rays break down the rubber on the sidewalls and they crack or "check".  Goodyear ST radials are gonna run $100 each.  Brakes - make sure both axles grab - a gravel drive and a spotter is needed.  Brakes can be expensive, unless you're a DIY'er.
