new to me LQ trailer. some things weren't working, had a friend that worked for an RV place come out and do a walk-through. we got everything to work except the outlets and microwave. He suspected the GFI outlet was bad (can only find one, on exterior of trailer). We replaced GFI, and the new GFI outlet has a green LED indicating power. It is lit up. Still none of the outlets will power anything and the microwave won't light up or run.

was curious if anyone had any ideas. power inverter appears to be working correctly, fuses look good. no breakers are thrown. the trailer has 2 propane tanks, 2 brand new deep cycle batteries. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Have you tried to plug the microwave into an outlet other than the trailer outlet to insure it works?

In mine there is a switch in a top kitchen cabinet that turns off a/c and on microwave. They are on the same electrical circuit

You probably have a ground fault receptacle that has tripped. Go thru your trailer and hit the reset button on every receptacle.. Happened to mine and it was either the one by the bed or in the bathroom. Can't recall and it will depend on what circuit it is on.

Check your breakers in the panel.  Make sure none are tripped and make sure they are working allowing power to pass through when they are switched on. Also sometimes the GFI is placed on the breaker in the panel vs on a plug in the wall.

Also some trailers have a Master on/off switch that turns off everything to prevent drain down. That usually only affects the 12volt lights/appliances. But maybe it is your problem.

turns out the new GFI outlet we purchased at lowes was a lemon. bought a second GFI, different brand, and now all outlets and microwave work. what are the odds?

Thanks everyone for your replies. now we just need warmer weather here in Ohio so we can start camping!
