We had a blizzard going through so the day before I wanted to check the LQ to make sure it was charged. If we lost power to the house I thought we could camp in it for a few days. We have a Battery Minder on it so I turned on an interior light to make sure we had power. Nothing. Well, I though maybe the plug wasn't in all the way, checked those and left it hooked up to the Battery Minder. I also checked all the camper fuses. They were ok. Came back later and still no lights. So I plugged it into the land line. Still no lights. I know the receptacle was working because the Battery Minder had lights. Today after the blizzard I tried it again. Lights! So what was the problem and will it happen again?

I suspect that you have a loose ground. The wind from the storm probably rocked the trailer allowing it to make contact again. Sometimes they are hard to find. I would start with the connections at the battery and trace till I found the bad one.

Well, it fixed itself. I believe that if something breaks by itself, if you wait long enough, it fixes itself!
Seriously, I think the battery minder was hooked up to the trailer batteries and was not plugged into the wall receptacle tight and it was off for a while. I am not sure what that does to the batteries, but everything seems to be working fine. I charged the batteries from the land line and they work. Now I have plugged the BM back in and it is on "maintaining". I hope I have not damaged anything.
