My friend is purchasing a rather large motor home and is wanting to pull a 4 horse trailer w/dressing/tack area. The dilemma is that she needs the trailer to accommodate 17hh horses. Any ideas on brands that may have such? Or, will she need to have something custom built?TIA

Will something like these 7'6" tall trailers work...?

Happy New Year! We have a great all aluminum 4H Bumper Pull (link posted above) that is built just for a motor home! Wont you shoot me an email and we can go over this unit in more detail? Looking forward to hearing from you! Michele@buyshadow.com

If I was hauling 4 17H horses, I would want the trailer to be at least 8'Hx8'W. But, that is going to be a monster to pull behind a motor home. An extended, beefed up tongue with a weight distributor hitch would be a must.  I would be so worried about safety issues since that would be a huge amount of weight  back there!

Hope your friend checks towing capacities of the motor home she is considering before she buys. That's where I would start.
