Does anyone know where Missouri Foxtrotter Southern Sunrise is standing? MFTHBA has several non-woking sites from where he was last standing. I have two young mares out of him and would like some more background info. Their dispositions are so alike... very laid back and easy to train. These gals are my first gaited horses after many years or riding quarters and Arabs. These gals are a pleasure to ride even at just 3 years-old.

Southern Sunrise is alive and well, and available for breeding (artificial). He is at the Marshfield, Missouri, farm, where he was born and raised, and is still producing top-quality, championship foals.
We have also started breeding Registered MFTHBA Ponies, which is now a recognized breed. We have many of the sons and daughters that he has directly sired, as well several generations beyond. I have a Sunrise great granddaughter,and,had another one that I sold to some good friends (a grulla,the dun line comes out of her sire's mother's line.) They all have a distinctive gorgeous look,beautiful heads,etc.None better IMO.

Southern Sunrise was recently purchased from Larry Stevens by Harry Patterson of Texas.I am not sure where Harry is standing him,in Missouri,or,in Texas.He is the owner of a Zane's Boss Man stallion also,his ranch is 4P's Ranch and I believe it is Witchata Falls.
