Looking for brake controller recommendations for use in a Lexus GX470 and a two horse 4 Star bumper pull trailer. I'm wanting a controller that is small and very easy to set and use. Leslie

Leslie, I pull with a truck, but I don't think that it matters that I will recommend the Prodigy.  I replaced my old controller with a Prodigy, and it's an altogether much better controller.

I too use a Prodigy and I really like it. It is easy to adjust and lets you know if the connection is not good.

Same here, and it has short protection (it will not fry to death, it will let you know there is a short, which means brakes won't work, but after you have the short fixed the controller is still able to be used)
