Hi all. I am new to posting here. Have been enjoying the conversations. Just bought a used gooseneck trailer for my kids to show in 4H. What is the best way to lock this thing when it is parked on my property so that it stays there and doesn't wonder off late one night? Thanks in advance for the help! Bob

Hello Bob ... Welcome to the forum... We just discussed this very subject.  click here >> http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/forum/thread-view.asp?threadid=11725&start=1

The 100 pound dog chained to the hitch tube (and a shotgun by the house door) seems to be your answer.

I like Hosspullers suggestion... But if you don't have that chain or a good weapon you may needto fall back on something from these pages...

every thing I read here I would go with the wheel lock It sounds like the best and it can take a lot longer to steal

Thanks everyone for the advice. I've been keeping the scatter gun by the door just in case! I'll be checking out the locks that are avail online. Thanks! Bob

I have 3 donkeys and they make all knids of noise when someone pulls in! Great alarm system!
