Hey Folks!

We are seriously looking at a Silver Star 3 horse with a 7' SW Stallion Coach LQ package. This would be quite a step up from our 16' stock trailer and tent! This looks to me to be a well built trailer for the money, particularly compared to some of the other entry level trailers out there. I'd like to hear the experiences of others, good and bad, with Silver Star trailers.

Thanks!

GREAT trailer!
Even better customer service.  The O rings that attach the feedbags/mangers were getting worn out and one of the LQ door hinges cracked.  My trailer was still under warranty - they shipped all the parts by UPS, FREE of charge, no questions asked.  They shipped me three door hinges so they would match!

In 2004 I went to QH Congress the best place to "look" at trailers; I liked the Silver Star to, but had my husband go back with me to make sure it was made the best. It was, I seen new trailers that had rust, and many other problems

In the next week or so he will be done with my LQ's; it is a 7' short wall, 4 H

and will be posting pictures of it and how he did it(I hope)

Wendy

I've got an '04 3ft short wall 2H slant GN.  I love it.  I'm in the process of building in a "camper" type living quarters.  I mostly do weekend trips and one day trail rides.  I love the way it tows behind my GMC 1500 Sierra.  I also did a lot of looking before I bought and this trailer has a lot of bang for the buck.  Hope you're happy with yours.

Silver Star is a very nice trailer for the money. We looked at both Silver Star and 4-Star; we ended up buying a 4-Star. The Silver Star construction was very close to the 4-star in the way it was built. The only reason we went with the 4-star is the person we bought the 4 Star from was in such a hurry to sell he’s 2003 2H SL GN for half the price of new trailer. He stored the trailer in a barn for 2 years and only used it once. We couldn't pass it up, the trailer looked brand new. If the 4-Star didn’t fall in to our laps, I wouldn’t have hesitated to buy a new Silver Star.
