Wondering if all fireplace options in Living Quarters are electric? It seems like a propane version would be available but I have not seen them.

I wonder about the safety aspect of a propane fireplace. Do people really use them?

It would be similar to a heater like the "Mr Heater - Portable Buddy Heater" - it uses propane.

Maybe I did not describe it correctly. It would look exactly like the electric fireplaces that are options in some trailers, but run on propane instead.

Why couldn't it heat the trailer in place of a furnace, which runs on propane.

We camp in the back country where electric hookups are not available and don't like taking a generator.

I have had 3 trailers with fireplaces. The theory of that is to give you electric heat so you don't have to use your propane furnance while you are pluuged in to shore power. I like using mine, it makes me feel more like I'm getting my monies worth out of the hookup price.
