Okay so I am new here and I'm sure your get questions all the time. I have recently boat a 2005 dodge 2500 ton. It is not diesel, yes I know first mistake but I can't afford more. Its max tow load is 13,500 pound and the gvwr is 8800 pounds. I am looking for a 3 horse gooseneck trailer, that I can tow with out something happening. My wife does saddle club during the summer prob about 5 plus hour drive. Please help me!!! Thanks!

We have a 2003 Ram 2500 HD quad cab, AT with 3.73 gears. Everything in tip-top shape. Pulling 3h 8' LQ 7'6 tall 7 wide with slide all steel and excellent brakes. Loaded with horses around 12k. We don't get in a hurry and it works great. We did try some lighter trailers and brands that weighed less but didn't tow as nice. Not sure why but it seems if the rear axles are all the way to the back of the trailer it didn't seem to be balanced right perhaps making the difference.
