I am in the process of buying a horse trailer. I found one i like and have been told that the fact it is an aluminum trailer with a steel frame may be an issue. Something about a chemical reaction. Can anyone give me any info on this? Have not been able to find much about it on the internet.

Thanks!!!

My current trailer is a 2006 Logan XT.  It has a steel frame with aluminum skin and has held up very well

Check into Bison and see how they build their trailers. Logan uses a 3M tape to attach the Aluminum skin to the Steel frame. So there really is no contact between the two dissimilar metals.
