One more question about this trailer ;)I'm a bit stumped with these side tail lights on my new-to-me old Trail-Et. The tail/brake/turn signal lights at the bottom are the standard 6" oval you can get at any farm/fleet store. Same with all the running/marker lights. But there are two tail lights that are NOT standard anything that I can find. I thought perhaps these were something that somebody added after market, but I'm seeing the same style on pictures of other Trail-Ets, so I thought maybe somebody here would be familiar with them. This is what I've got (minus the red tape they were covered in when I bought it):http://sodarfarms.com/pics/light.jpghttp://sodarfarms.com/pics/light2.jpgThere is a ledge around the entire perimeter of the casing, so I'm thinking once upon a time a lens snapped over the whole thing. It measures 5" high and 1 3/8" wide. I'm not convinced that the random bulb inside is original to design. The outside of the casing is stamped "ARROW 070" and "DOT P2 85" but google searches on either of those numbers aren't helping me.Does anybody know either what this light or lens is, or where to get a replacement? Thanks!

Trail-et used these lights for a period of years.  We were dealers at the time and scrambled to find a source for them to avoid having to order them from Trail-et.  These lights were rather vulnerable and needed repair or replacing often.  We finally found that they were designed to be used in the rear window of automobiles/trucks as an additional brake light.  As far as we know, they are no longer available on the market.  Our computer shows the last ones we had and sold were in 2002.

Our part number was 600122, but that was not the manufacturer's number.  The light was discontinued by the manufacturer, but I guess there still may be some floating around out there.  Good luck.  Why don't you just remove them?

I would remove the light, secure the wire and plug the hole.... Looks as if you had a horse tied there the lead line and or hay bag would become tangled with the light.... POP, broken again..... That light mounted in that area was a bad idea from the start. If you want more rear lights, maybe add the center light bar that has LED running, stop and turn signals all in one fixture.
