I just bought a used 2003 Sundowner Sunlite that doesn't have the inside grates on the drop down doors. Has anyone added them after the fact, or what other screen options are there that I could find so I can safely travel with the drop downs open for ventilation.

Glad to hear you want to make sure your horse is not gonna get hurt by hanging his head out while going down the road. HUGE pet peeve of mine. All it takes is a bug or rock in the eye, or worse, a tree branch or passing truck mirror. I have been looking at screens for mine even tho it has bars. Want to keep debris out. I prefer the ones that zip in the middle so I can offer water on the road, or add feed to manger through window. Smith Brothers has some on sale. They come with the footmans loops to install them, then velcro on to footmans loops, and zipper up middle. Looked well made, and fair price. Here is link:

Thanks for that link. Those look like they will work. The inside bars were an option from Sundowner in 2003 I believe, I wonder if anyone has added them afterwards? I really like the screened drop down bars that my Logan has.

We ordered 4 screens for our 2000 4Star,the front stall window was smaller, and they were all custom made.I am going to order 2 for my 2H older Sooner, these are very nice screens made for RV's that are UV fabric and come in colors.
