I am looking for a trailer.  Can't find any info on Jamco trailers.  Are they any good?  At this point I have 3 options in mind.  '00 Jamco 2 horse slant for $7000,  '98  Featherlite straight load for $7195, '97 Hart slant load from dealer with tax it will be $7400 with my '96 Bonanza as a trade in.  All have small dressing areas and are in good condition.  Please give me some advice here.  I am trailer illiterate.  Would prefer a slant load, I have a horse that will not back out of a trailer, the pole is removeable in the Featherlite.

All information would be greatly appreciated.   Thanks

Call Jim Helgendorf at 260 768-7707.  Jim has sold Jamco's for a longtime, and knows the product well.  He just took delivery on an 8 horse head to head trailer for draft horses.  He knows how a heavy duty well made trailer should be built; and thats one reason he likes Jamco's.  He is manager of the Midway Trialer store at Shipshewana, Indiana.

Unless the Jamco has been damaged, it is alot newer than the other models. I also think it is the best made of the trailers you mentioned. Even if all 3 choices were brand new and similar in options I would definately still take the Jamco!

My friend has a Jamco and it's been a wonderful trailer for her. I vote for the Jamco, they are very well made. It may be heavier than the other two however....something you might need to consider or not.

No question in my mind, Jamco for sure. Newer, lower price and it's a better trailer to begin with. The Jamco you can read about on their website http://www.jamcotrailers.com/
