Hello everyone

I'm new to this forum and love it.  I am going to AQHA's QuarterFest next week and will be stopping in the Little Rock, AR area overnight.  Has anyone overnighted in that area or know of any nice places for overnight stabling?

Thanks for your help.

We have a layup facility 30 miles below Little Rock in Sheridan.  When would you be  coming thru? The reason I am asking, I am trying to get away to go to Quarterfest myself.  It is being held 1 mile from my parents house and less than 2 miles from my sisters.  I have not been back to see them since before Christmas and the tornado hit not far from them.

I appreciate the offer but you are a bit far off my projecte route.  Have you been checking the AQHA webiste for all the good stuff that is going to be at QuarterFest?  I'm going to the horse camping seminars and the Extraviganza on Friday and Saturday nights.  Maybe I'll see you there.

Check out this website.  http://www.travelinghorse.com/Stables.html

You can search by state for overnight facilities.

There is a small campground just north of Little Rock not too far off of I40 called Camp Robinson.  I believe you can still stay there for free.  They also have covered horse pens.   Field trials are held there so you would want to make sure they are not having one during your visit or it will probably be full.
