Finally got some strength back in me to take a good ride out and about on the ranch. I was going down and feeding and brushing the girls but that's about all I could take. Everyone else Cody and husband got over it within a week, my system is just completely shot! Anyways......Just some pics, nothing spectacular, one creative of Josie, and a head shot of Missy................
I love how this one turned out!
And one of as Cody calls her "Missy Poo..."
This one I have set as my desktop now............The two buddies, they are horrible when you seperate them! Even Josie throws a fit, the only horse we've ever had that she's ever done this with!
So after some playing with the camera, Oh and I took my old digital camera the cybershot, still does pretty good after alot of years of banging around in the saddle bags, headed up into the Buck Field up a new way I had been taking. I love when the cattle make new trails they go up into some steep country, makes for a good "keep in shape" workout for Josie, oh and myself included. The ground was pretty snotty so had to be careful where and how steep we went, sure didn't faze Josie one bit, she was raring to go!

I took about a 2 hour ride, as the fog was starting to set back in and it started to burn my lungs bad, don't want to relapse, I did that once before and ended up going into ER for rads and meds! As I came over the hill I heard the cattle hollaring, figured well someone must be feeding, and as I crest the ridge I caught these shots before the two or I should say three saw me!

Had major surgery on my hand, 6-8 month recovery. Not sure when the doc will okay me back in the saddle. Doc runs barrels, so he knows the demands of horse keeping and he firmly told me NO HORSE PLAY OR RIDING.

Sorry to hear you were under the weather...Nice Pics as always Ride a few miles for me too. I also just had surgery, just out of cast. My Dr is also wise to my horsie ways It won't be much longer for me to get back in the saddle.
