Just got done reading the Quickbite coupler review by Mr Truck. Interesting product, not sure I need one but got me to thinking about this new style electrical plug I read about some time back.
Looks like a much better system.......a little expensive though. I'm pretty religious about maintaining my electrical and I've still had two "No trailer connected" warnings pop up on the P3 in the past year and a half. Wiggled the plug and it came back both times. Granted the P3 is fanatical about its ground, but that's not going to pi$$ me off any less when the lights or brakes are not working like I expect.

That should keep folks from wanting to borrow your trailers for a while..... I have an legitimate excuse now.... "My trailer plug won't fit your truck!!"
What would it cost to change out two trucks and five trailers??

I have trouble with my bp plug not grounding too, I guess... I'd decided that my left rear turn signal was out and was already planning to take it in ti get it fixed, when Lo and Behold!!! My RIGHT turn signal didn't work next time I plugged it in!! I wiggled the plug and then it went back to the left signal out.. This is a pain in the a** for me! I make sure to seat the plug well when I plug it in..the grooves are lined up, and the latch comes over the edge of the plug to hold it in... Why can't I get BOTH turn signals to work at the same time? Surely I'm not asking too much, am I?

No, you're not asking too much. What type of plug is it? 6 pin round, 7 blade rv? How old? On the trailer side is it a molded on plug and wire, or a replacement head with the screws inside? I will assume you've cleaned the contacts.
The turn signal contacts are generally on the opposite sides of the plug, sounds like you're not making contact on both sides at the same time?

Try purchasing a small tube of dielectric grease and coat the terminals of the plug. Insert and retract the plug several times, and usually this will cure a plug with dirty contacts.
