yoyo63 glad you found a trailer, but just wanted to say to someone else comparing trailer brands, there is as much difference between the best to the worst as there would be in anything else. I don't sell them, but I would own a Sundowner 720 rather than an exiss, keifer, merhow, featherlite, etc.,etc. I would pick 4 star, C&C, Elite, and Platinum as the top end.

Yes,and there are as many differences of opinion in what you are saying as there are trailer brands, too. It's what works best for who is paying the bill. That's what is "the best."

Well,Gard, thanks.Isn't that what you've been trying to get across on this thread and others similar?
I mean: sure,if money were no object I'd run out here and order a fully decked out Bloomer,Hart, etc.Love to.We owned a Platinum before we bought our Exiss Event.I've looked at a lot of LQ interiors since and I have to say that I have not seen a better setup than the one we have by Sierra conversions. On the other hand,we do NOT trailer someplace for hundreds of miles, weekend after weekend in our trailer. If it were something I were doing as a living,or a full-fledged hobby (in which case,I'd have plenty of dough to work with, obviously, too) I might have a Platinum,4Star,etc.I do have a 4star,not a LQ.But I had to choose what I liked, could afford, and what met our needs. That's EVERYONE'S "best" trailer,IMO,whether it is a little known brand that you found at a fire sale price or a fully decked out Bloomer.

golyeeee, if that was the question. maybe go back to the original post. It looked to me like the question was quality, durability, resale, it didn't look like they were looking for an opinion on what they could afford or how they were going to use it.

OK,here is what she said:Would like you to rate your top 5 trailer brands in order. Quality construction, durability, resale, price
When she posted "your" top 5 trailer brands, well, there are 100's of registered users on HTW.What is one person's top trailer brand might not be what 10 others would.it was a big, general category question, and she found her answers searching the threads. We (Gard,I,etc.) were talking about some of our issues. We weren't necessarily still on the original question. You yourself said that you've have a sundowner rather than an Exiss,Merhow, etc.
I wouldn't.
That's the basis of what we were discussing.I wasn't trying to give her an opinion on what she could afford or how she was going to use it.As you proved yourself, what YOU think is the best trailer isn't what I'd pick for my best trailer, and, vice versa.I think she's already found what she was shopping for anyway,so I guess she got her answer some time ago.

no you are right, paying the most has nothing to do with it. Compare the parts that break sag and fall apart and that is the moving parts and that is good enough for me. Drop down windows, their hinges, manger doors, face guards, camper doors and back doors. And if you order them with the same options there isn't a cost difference. There is a reason the resale on some are better than others.

liv to ride, if you would like more information on the Blue Moon trailers, you'll need to either look up some of the older threads on the forum, or ask just Rollin Ponnies, I think that he might be a manufacturer, distributor or something.

Blue Moon is by far the best...I got a mail from them the other day with their latest special offer....
This would be of interest to you guys in PA.
Integral snow plough....
Easy to fit and 100% satisfaction garanteed.
It has a heated blade under the nose of the trailer which clears the snow as you drive. It has special wind generators mounted on the wheels which which generate hot air (by applying the brakes slightly). this hot air is directed to the front of the tow vehicle thus melting the snow in front of you.
Unfortunately this upgrade is only available on the 4wd models with tail bags...for obvious reasons.
I believe that Blue Moon offers the Best value for Money, outstanding quality (especially the dbl story units) and inovation far beyond any of the other manufacturers.
