Does anyone know of a cheap place in north Texas that does customized living quarters.  I have a 2006 4-Star and would like to start doing weekend trail riding instead of showing....its a lot cheaper!  Need to have some living quarters installed first.  Would appreciate any and ALL advice, Thanks from Texas !

This same question was recently asked in a previous posting. It resulted in having several businesses being listed. It you do a search under living quarters, you will find some Texas companies listed.

Be forewarned, the pricing of LQs is not for the feint of heart. A "cheap" LQ is a waste of time and money; a less expensive one is still quite expensive.

By writing down your needs, asking a lot of questions, completing some preparatory footwork and comparing apples to apples, you should be able to determine a conversion company from which to choose.

If you want to try to do-it-yourself, I used this link and made a really nice insulated finished tackroom which I camped out of for a year. It was warm, dry, and very cozy.

How big is your tack room?  I've got lots of ideas but I just can't decide on what to put in mine.

A friend of mine just had his lq done ...he lives near Gainsville...he said he was very  happy and would recommend them.

You can write to him at cowhorse@earthlink.net.

His name is Chuck and tell him that Nickie sent you.
