I am looking at a Charmac Alum. 3 horse slant and know nothing about this brand. I currently pull a Sundowner and don't want to be disapointed in the quality. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I looked at one and the welds were horrible. I would keep looking. Titan and Trails West are nice.

Charmac trailers are made up in Idaho. They have been around a long time. They were mostly a steel trailer mfg. A few years ago they joined the crowd and started to build aluminum trailers and also LQ trailers. They are going to be a mid range trailer. Not a 4 Star, Elite or Platnium, But should cost quite a bit less.

Look at some on the dealer lots and see if all of them have bad welds as mentioned above. Any company is liable to have a few defects durning a ramp up period. But if all their work comes out that way, it should be priced accordingly.

I am on my second Charmac and love them, except mine is steel with aluminum. The workmanship and customer service is excellent. I have no experience with the all aluminum though.

I have a 95 Charmac gooseneck (steel) and am very happy with it. I find it to be well built and very sturdy. Nnothing has come apart and no welds have failed that I can see.
