I have found a 2006 Genesis 8' LQ shell. for 21900.00. We would love to have something all ready done but that is not going to happen. So we have decided to start looking at some LQ shells. This particular trailer is 7 tall 7 wide with 25' floor length. We originally were looking at 7'6" tall and 7'6' to 8' wide. I'm not quite sure we won't stick with that decision. I'm looking for the best deals on 2005-2006' that may still be sitting on a dealers lot somewhere. Hoping there near deperate to get it off their lot. I know I could be searching for awhile but with the price of horse trailers I don't have much choice. Surely their is one out there that we can afford to buy and still travel with it once in a while. Are the Keifer Builts all aluminum or steel with aluminum skin? I do think the KB is a good looking trailer. If KB is steel how does it measure up to a Bee, Bison, Trails West, or some of the other steel trialers out there. Oh yeah don't bother with the Ponderosa, we have one, won't have another. Thank You

I have built a few Kiefer Built Trailers and they make a real nice trailer. They are real square compared to other brands. I never had a problem selling one of them either(can't say that for all brands). I think by guessing you are looking at a Genesis Trailer they are all aluminum no Steel (just in the coupler and axle frame). You must be looking at a 4 horse to get to 25' on the floor with 8' shortwall. That would be a X440 model. You won't be dissappointed with them. Should be able to do a little better on price unless the one you are looking at has mangers.

Yes it is a 4 horse. There are no mangers in it though. I wouldn't want the mangers in less than a 7'6" wide and they would have to be the deep ones.

Thank You
