New battery, new fence charger, new wire, new insulators. Battery is charged, f charger arcs over when screwdriver is laid from the ground terminal to the positive. Correct lines to positive and negative onto battery. Wire is not touching anything but the insulators and the f charger. Still not getting a hot wire........have even changed ground wire out....still nothing. Any ideas?

Is the ground really dry? If it is you may not have a good ground. I have that problem alot here. I just leave the hose to drip around the ground rod once a week to keep it moist. If that's the problem and you don't want to keep watering the grounding rod you could run a positive wire and negative wire about an inch apart so when the horse touches the fence he completes the circuit between the two wires.

I will reconfigure my ground contraption and moisten the ground. Never messed w/the stuff but I kept looking at it thinking "this does not take a rocket scientist". Usually it's the simple things that will throw me. Thanks guys.
