We have a lqtrs trailer.  The sink in the bathroom always has water sitting in the drain.  The water drains okay when in use , but afterwards theres always water visable in the drain. (no water standing in the bowl either)  Anyone know what or why this could be?   Doesn't seem right to me. The kitchen sink is fine.  No leaks anywhere either. (we purchased the trailer used about 2 months ago

Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Sounds ike you're looking at the water in the "P" trap.

Look at the bottom of the sink.  Is there a loop in the drain pipe.  If so, is the water level you see in the drain at the same level as the top of the loop?

The "P" trap is there to prevent bad smelling gases from the holding tank getting to the LQ.

One more thought for you...Since you're in Maryland with a new LQ trailer...

Consider what will happen in the winter.  That water, you see, will freeze and break the pipe.  Remember to winterize all the water pipes & tanks.  Either drain or use RV antifreeze.
