speaking of rapid hitch, does anyone have one?  they sure look slick.  i dont know how i feel about the aluminum alloy they are made out of though....even aluminum trailers have steel couplers.

I've had two. First one was stolen, second one is working great. Heaviest I've towed is about 7,000 lbs, but it is rated for 12,000 I think. I've been using one for a little over two years and really like it so far. The mount is aluminum, the ball is steel. I tried the Rapid Hitch lock but it did not survive its first Michigan winter. I now use a 5/8" snow plow hitch pin with a 1/4" Padlock. It prevents you from walking by and sliding it out, but allows you to remove a corroded lock with a pair of bolt cutters.

I have one.  Have used it about 10 times.  Great! Strong! Very easy to adjust for both height & ball size.  I bought a regular pin lock to hold it into the receiver and haven't had any problems to date.  I'd recommend that you get the 6" drop unless you have a higher than normal truck (ie lifters).  Look around the price varies a lot from site to site.

Not only do we sell them but we use them on all are company and personal vehicles. They are rated at 10k. I have never had an issue with too much weight. I love them and recommend them!!
