This is one of the only times I've posted questions here so bare with me as I try to get all the info out. I just bought a used Brenderup off Craigslist on Monday. I can say I got the deal of a century and yes, I have title in hand. The trailer obvioulsy needs some TLC. It's been sitting for quite some time and I would like to replace the tires (among other things). I found the DVD that Brenderup sends out and watched a little bit and the DVD is saying they use passenger tires on this trailer!? I checked the tire size which is 185/65/13. My husband is challenging me on this... I of course, can't understand why one would use passenger tires on a horse trailer but it is a light Brenderup. I would love it since I can get a really good price on that size tire! I don't even know if they make radials in that size.

I think the 65 series will be hard to find in the USA. The 70 series should work just fine, it's a little taller and would have a larger carrying capacity. So far as "car tires" on a horse trailer... Remember, It's not a horse trailer, it's a "Brenderup"!!!
Where can I get replacement tires for a Brenderup? Lucas & Liebe carries tires made specifically for your Brenderup. Also you can purchase tires online at TireFactory.net - your Brenderup comes with Steel belted radial passenger tires, but, a light truck tire will work also. For a Royal or Baron the information we have is 205/65/R1599H, part T443442.
