i am considering ordering a platinum trailer. would appreciate owners (past and present) letting me know about strengths or weaknesses in the trailer.
also, because the nose of a platinum is not tapered (or at least none of them are in the photos i have been seeing), and the fact that i have a short bed mega cab, will an extension take care of that problem or should i steer away from platinum because of the square nose???

My Platinum (and most I've seen) have tapered noses. The Dodge Megacab will be a turning problem with ANY trailer, but the hitch extension and tapered nose will help. Most of the guys I rodeo with have switched back to the regular crew cab in the Dodge. Good luck.

I think you'll find Platinum to be one of the top trailers in the business today. I'd check around with several dealers, as I've noticed big price differences on the same trailers on this site.

I ordered a new Platinum (2007 model) in 2006 from a great dealer. She helped me and answered questions to assist me in my plans to have a LQ put in by someone locally. Ilove the trailer and appreciate all of the help. They are really well built and they stand behind their product. Good Luck and I don't think you can go wrong with Platinum.
