RE: BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A Radials - LT265/7OR17/E.  The spec's show inflation to 80 PSI with a maximum load of 3195.  Would 80 PSI be the inflation whether loaded or not?  I checked the tire pressure & on a new truck just off the lot, the pressure was 43 PSI all around.  No wonder they looked kinda flat.

You can run lower pressure when not towing, I wouldn't go lower than 55-60 though.

I run 70-75 on my F Goodrich and am getting fantastic wear!  I'll never go back to Firestone again!

They leave them low on the lot so it will ride good! They hope that this will be a selling point with hopes that you will buy the vehicle!
