Has anyone ever had their trailer axles aligned? I have a tire that is wearing funny. I had a dealer look at it and they made me an appointment with a different shop to have the alignment checked. does anyone have any feedback on this?
My trailer is a 1999 cato classic 5-horse w living qtrs. It has torsion axles.
Thanks for any input.

Just ONE tire ?
I'd squirm around under there first to see if there are any broken mounting bolts - I'd also wrack my memory re. kerb hits (-:
Pot holes are definitely back in season here in the North East.

My trailer had the front left tire wearing on the outside. I took it to a heavy truck alignment shop. They bent the torsion axle to align the wheel with the rest of the tires. I also told them the trailer is usually pulled loaded. That made a difference in the final angles of the bend correction. ( wheel changes position as the suspension is loaded)

The alignment can make a huge difference. When the alignment is out the tires will wear unevenly and also run a lot hotter which will increase the chance of a blowout. We do quite a few trailer alignments and are set up to do it
