Shoop trailers are manufactured not far from where I live. They have been around since the 60's, if memory serves me correctly. They have a reputation for being well built, but heavy. As with all previously owned trailers, I would check out the usual things to be safe (wheel bearings, floor, undercarriage, etc., etc.

Good Luck!

Brenda

I bought the trailer yesterday. It's a 4 horse head-to-head with no tack room. It was built in '93.
This trailer will need some rust repair on the skin panels, but the frame is solid. It has new tires, new floor, new mats, brakes work, wheel bearings are in good shape, etc. I bought it for $2500. I think I got a decent price.
I pulled it home, 600mi through the blueridge and appalachian mountains. It pulled great, right through thunderstorms, and steep grades. I'm pleased.

Do you all think I got a good price?

Thanks, Phillip
