You list it at $1,000 and I bet it sells.

I'd check other trailers on here, that are comparable. Pay particular attention to the ones that have sold if you want to sell it. Or you can look at the oldest adds that have not sold if you just want to PRICE it.

After looking through the adds, looks like $3,000 to $3,500 anything over that you are just pricing it. I try to put myself at the advantage when selling by being AT or BELOW the average selling prices. When it time to sell something I am not going to keep it around to make a few hundred dollars. On the other hand if you are one of those that says if I could get $10,000 out of my $5,000 trailer I would sell it, then you need to price it accordingly.

I am also the same type of buyer, I have seen $5,000 price differences in the exact same trailers from one dealer to another, I will drive to get a better deal. Also find out where the trailer is made, most dealers will let you pick it up at the factory. I bought a trailer from a dealer over 600 miles away, completley over the phone. Picked it up at the factory less than 300 miles. Saved $4,300 over what my local dealer(about 70 miles away) wanted for one that was on his lot.
