Is there anybody out there that makes a steel stock trailer that is 7 feet tall and 7 feet wide (INSIDE height and width)! I have searched all over the net and can't find anything. The closest I have found is Donahue that makes a 7 wide, 6'9" tall. I can't even find one that offers that as an option. I am having a hard time selling my current trailer and I feel I will end up taking quite a loss on it. So I am looking at stock trailers as an inexpensive (and better suited to my needs anyway) alternative. I figure if I have an escape door I can build a little dressing room myself.

Maybe I am too hung up on the extra height and width? The main horse that I haul is about 15.3 tall, but wide, and I ocasionally haul a 16 hand TB. Maybe 6'9" is enough? I just can't buy a taller horse! I am getting so frustrated with this selling and buying a trailer thing! 4

This is a featherlite, it is a bumper pull stock, and is 7' in width and 7' in height: http://www.fthr.com/trailers/model_template.cfm?cat=horse&ModelID=389&styleName=Bumper%20Pull&lqcheck=Standard%20Aluminum

This is a featherlite, it is a bumper enclosed, and is 7' in width and 7' in height: http://www.fthr.com/trailers/model_template.cfm?cat=horse&ModelID=336&styleName=Bumper%20Pull&lqcheck=Standard%20Aluminum

This is a featherlite, it is a bumper enclosed, with 7-6"' in width and 7'-6" in height: http://www.fthr.com/trailers/model_template.cfm?cat=horse&ModelID=522&styleName=Bumper%20Pull&lqcheck=Standard%20Aluminum

http://www.fthr.com/trailers/model_template.cfm?cat=horse&ModelID=522&styleName=Bumper%20Pull&lqcheck=Standard%20Aluminum

Those mentioned are all bumper pulls, but they have goose necks in the same sizes.

Hope this helps...

Thanks! I went to the links for the Featherlites just to look and they make a steel trailer too, with an option for 7 foot tall. Thought they only made aluminum trailers.

Featherlite makes a great steel trailer.  They also have the swing tack option so you can have a tack room or take the saddle rack out and open the swing tack door and have a true stock trailer.  To us it has the best of both worlds.  We want a tack room most of the time but when you really need to haul the animals you can and you don't have to buy a trailer that is extra long for those few occasions.  We ordered our Featherlite 7' tall as well, mostly for resale value and I have one taller horse.  Don't get frustrated - the other trailer will sell.
