I live in the midwest. We are starting to have some decent temps (60's and it even reached 70 the other day). However, it's still getting colder at night- high 30'-40's. My first show of the season is next week out-of-state and I would love to be able to use my toilet and shower in my LQ lol.
Am I safe to unwinterize without risk of a pipe breaking? The trailer is a 2017 Merhow, 1 yr old. I dont intend to use any water until I am actually parked at the campground at the show, and by the time I get home temps should be better I hope! A barn acquaintance told me as long as it stays above 40 I should be good?
Plugging the trailer in at home to leave the furnace running with cabinets open is really not an option as I keep it at a local boarding facility and they're not too keen on me leaving it plugged in for days at a time (Not to mention it would use a lot of propane!)

I respectfully disagree with the wind chill comment. Wind Chill is the taking into account of wind over skin, thus providing a felt cooling effect, not a true cooling. Machines do not experience windchill.
However- that wind will cool a trailer. If it is 30 degrees outside and you are driving, the inside of that trailer will get to 30 degrees very quickly. Where if it is sitting at home, and the temp drops to 30 degrees at night, it will usually be fine as it started warm and the morning sun will warm it up again quickly.
To your question- be careful. Driving when it is cold, can freeze a trailer quickly.

Good points. So is a general rule of thumb 32 degrees or below, or a wind chill of 32 or below? I dont think it will be that cold when we are driving...(at least I hope not!). The lowest the 10 day forecast shows is a low of 39 one night before we leave
