I am looking into an inexpensive first trailer and the majority of my search results are Calico trailers. Does any one have one and like it? Or have had any problems? I'm concerned that at such a low asking price, they may not be as high quality as their expensive counterparts.
Thanks.

They are a low end steel trailer and priced accordingly. Paint is not the greatest and will show rust after a couple of years. If you are an occasional hauler and don't have an adversion to rust spots, then it will work for you.
If you have a little bit bigger budget, I'd look at Titan and Trailswest. Superior paint (Galveneal) compared to Calico and cleaner welds.

Hey jesseq. Welcome to the forum. I have several friends who have BP Calico trailers and they are a good value for the money. A couple are approaching 10 yr old and there is a bit of rust here an there, but nothing too bad. Good Luck with your trailer search.

I have a 2012 Calico stock trailer and I love it. I can haul my horse and my shetland ponies in it, just can't haul a really tall horse as height is only 6'6". But it works for me. I also use it to haul hay and lawn equipment. It does rust some but overall a good trailer for the money.

I had one , a 12 ft BP. They kept it inside and I kept it inside. It had no rust and I sold it for more than I paid. I am meticulous about keeping them clean though.
Hauled easy and was great. I sold it because it was'nt long enough. I would buy another.
