My son is making his way home for the holidays and will be travelling from west Texas where he attends college. We are looking for a place where he could stay overnight with 4 horses between Shreveport and Jackson, MS (preferably eastern LA) He can stay in the trailer but needs a safe place to put the horses for the night. Stockyard, fairground etc... Any help would be appreciated!!

Web: www.hollyhillfarm.net
Directions: 10 miles north of Shreveport-Bossier City. I-220 to Hwy 3 North to Benton.
Facilities: 150 acre equestrian center with 100 covered stalls, covered arena, lighted outdoor arena. Easy access and parking. Owner/vet on premises. 12 x 12 and 11 x 10 stalls w/shavings. Washracks. Hay/feed. Bunkhouse sleeps 2-3 people

Also try Le Cheval Arena  318-549-4484  or1-866-549-4484  They have hookups and stalls very reasonable and right off the interstate within a half mile.  I stayed here a few years ago and felt very safe.

I can vouch for the Hewlett's.  Bob is a great vet, and their place isn't too far from I-20.  They've got public bathrooms, a shower, and electric hookups if your son wants to overnight in his trailer.
