I just sold my 1989 Verylight- alum. over steel that has held up very well. Had some issues with repairing ramp and rotting wood in butterfly doors but new ones don't have the wood. Guess after 18 years... My friend has a 1987- same model. Know of several others that have newer Equistars they love. Don't think you could go wrong with on of these. They are standard 7'6" and very well built.
I really wanted a new one with the rumber floor but found a brand with longer slant stalls which is what I wanted. If my horses were under 16 hands would defin. have bought the Merhow. Dealers were confident my almost 17 hand horse would be comfy but opted for the extra nose to tail length the Logan had. Great trailers, good price and good customer service- defin. recommend. Good Luck!

We have an 05 EquiLite 3 horse that is 7'6" tall, 7' wide; 8 foot short wall with slide out. It is plenty roomy for our horses. Merhow does make an 8' wide trailer that would give extra slant stall length. Love the Merhow, would buy another one in a heartbeat. Love our dealer, Earl Johnson Diamond J Dothan AL.
