Howdy evryone. Have a question.. I have a 06 F250 SD and I want to add a plug for my trailers in the bed. We had added one in the 03 I had but with the tow master system in this truck would the wiring be different? Has anyone done this without problems? On the other truck I did have to crawl under it and switch plugs.Unplug the bumper plug and connect the GN plug. If anyone has wired there own would ya send me your secret...Thanks

On my 06 F-250, I spliced into the rear plug and wired up a plug in the bed. All I did was cut the wires, and run the additional wires to a new plug. This way, I still have use of the plug on the bumper. If you know the basics of wiring, you can do this in less than an hour time. It did not do anything to the integrated brake controller. It works just like it should

Get a schematic for it if you can.
On the GMs there is a "tail" for campers/trailers on the left side just behind the driver's door. I think it is about 4ft long, you just cut off the tie wraps, snake it up to where you want it and put a socket on it.
or
Get a 7 wire "extension cord" from an RV place, plug it into the rear outlet near the rear bumper, run it up to wherever you want it.
