Does anyone have any experience with these?  I've been eyeballing the remote start option for a long while, but up until now it was only available pre-installed on one of their generators.  Now they're (not Yamaha, so aftermarket) offering a kit to adapt your existing generator.  I have a two year old Yamaha 3000iSEB and dream of the ability to start and stop the generator from the cozy confines of my trailer.

I like the idea, but there is no price listed.  Or did I miss it?  Have you called them to get a price?

Hey there, Dawnya!

Nope, haven't inquired about a price yet.  I just revisit the search for this feature periodically to see if Yamaha or anyone else has come out with an add-on remote start kit.

Price probably isn't an issue for me at this point, as before they offered the separate kit, I've been toying with the idea of selling my current generator and replacing it with a same model one from this company with the remote start kit installed.  So unless it's absolutely outrageous, I'm probably willing to pay the price for convenience.

I'm more concerned with reliability or problems caused with generator function after installation; my particular question would be how the remote start kit works with the manual choke.  I realize I can get some of these details by calling the company, but thought I'd canvass for information here as well.
