Yes, does just fine. But it is using max output when starting.

I believe if you are running the AC, that's all you're gonna run. Well the converter will run as well, but not the microwave, nor a coffee maker.

I used the Yamaha EF2400 on my trailer.  As long as I didn't try to run another other major appliance at the same time. It ran the A/C just fine.  When ever I needed the Microwave, I'd turn off the A/C

We have one too.  I find it works just fine.  I like its light weight mobility design.

I take precautions prior to starting the AC.  I set the fridge to gas only.  I wait a few minutes after starting the Gen letting the electrical system settle.  Remeber if your batteries are low the converter will go into high charge mode.

I only had issues when I rushed to turn on the AC.

I always start the AC in the warmest setting and once the power is applied I slowly turn the thermostat until the compressor kicks in.   I shut off any power vents that take electricity also.

We have no Microwave.  But have showered and enjoyed Hot dogs and cold beer after a hot ride many times in the AC.

When we ordered shipping was free.
