I am looking to see what the cost is to have someone haul a trailer I am interested from near Modesto, CA to the midwest (specifically WI, but could meet nearby). Any recommendations?

I would call Trail-et or Hawk in Wisconsin, and see if their drivers do any back-hauls. If they have any trailers going to California, they would be empty going back to Wisconsin.

Try posting an ad on www.uship.com You will get people to bid on it and that will give you an idea.. I think its free to post on there too.. They make there money when you accept a bid.. They get like 8% of the total or something like that.. Give it a try...
