So we are ready to tackle the paneling around the door. Our trailer is the type you can move the saddle rack from front to back. We have the set-up that goes right down the side of the door with the eyes to hang the saddle rack from. What do we do with it? Wise Ol' Dad said just cut it off flush with the door frame. He loves to experiment with others stuff. I really can't complain he usually is right 99% of the time. :0)

Yup .. You aren't going to put those smelly saddles and blankets in your bed room.  Cut them flush & grind the edges smooth.

Wise ol' Dad ... One makes lots of mistakes over the years.  Hopefully, one learns from them.

Yeah, just as the other post said, "cutemoff!" and "git er done!" I did that with the blanket racks in mine. They layed right across the wall, and the pads are stinky if left inside, they go in the rear tack. I cut them with a zawsaw and grind down anything left and paneled right over it. It worked out better, less crap to get caught up on to inside my small area...

Cowpony, on your pictures, what is the pannel next to your tack room door for?  Your trailer is very similar to mine.
