Do you like to rough it, or do you want a base camp with ride out daily? I have had some good rides from near Graves Creek and the Rogue River, but you have to go around the large waterfalls and rapids near the Hells Gate. Or try looking along the Aplegate/Oregon Trail near Grants Pass and over to Jacksonville. I understand the area near Cave Junction has some nice trails also. Orrr... How about near Florence and the Ten Mile Lakes by the Oregon Dunes?

oh I'm all about roughing it. I just don't know which parks allow horses and which don't. Really all i need is a place to park my truck and trailer safely. Then just ride.
