just bought a 2004 keifer & it has surface rust on under frame & ball hitch area. what would be the best way to keep up or ahead of the rust a spray or brush on bedliner product or some kind of rustoleum paint. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

After wire brushing, and before painting, spray some rust neutralizer on the steel. Permatex makes some in a spray can that can be bought at most auto parts stores. It says to wait 24 hours before painting over the rust neutralizer.
