The easiest way is to use a magnet on the various parts of the trailer. Once you have an idea of what the various parts look like, they can be visually recognised.

If you want to know more about the trailer prior to making trip to buy, I assume, I would contact the Sooner people with all pertinent info., make , model,an serial nos. They will be able to tell you what structural components are in trailer. As Gard points out, upon actual looking at trailer I still would take a magnet and run it on frame and sides if in doubt.

Thanks everyone - I have a nice magnet to take. This trailer is so nice and I am taking knowledgeable people - it just seems that older Sooners and better than newer Sooners lol. Just could not find a dealer to ask and then of course it is 2000 Royale model and could not locate specs on internet anywhere - go figure. And now I guess the companies "merged"? Don't know.....I love a spec sheet with details........ will have to do my due dillengence! Or if anyone has a good contact # for Sooner I'd appreciate it.
