Hi y'all! I just got a 2000 C & C and it doesn't have a TV. In fact, I don't think it is even wired for one. My, question is, what all do I have to do to get a TV set up in the LQ? Cables, antennae, & so on!?!? Is this something I could do myself? I don't want to spend a fortune on this but I would like to have a TV if for no other reason than resale value. If y'all could, please share your ideas & thoughts with me on this!! I need help!! Thanks a bunch!!

Hello,

I just did the same thing, although there was a tv antenna, but what we did was buy a 12v/110 capable tv with built in dvd player. we then bought a locking rv mount and installed it with that on a blank wall. The mount does extend and move so it is very versatile.

My husband wired in a 12v plug for that adapter and where we put the tv there is the 110 power plug right there.

I got everything brand new on e-bay for under 210.00..

good luck,

My opinion if you plaining on watching DVD's I would not worry about the ant.!

A good idea for a TV/DVD player is a roof mounted flipdown style.  I am trying to find the pictures I posted of ours to show you.

If you do need/want the ant., I would say find a local RV shop to pay to do the job.
