I have had my 01 Exiss for a few months now and am slowly fixing some things that were not working. I had 3 running lights that were out and figured it was bulbs so I picked up some replacements but that didn't fix it, they are the one piece disposable lights. Are the bases prone to wearing out? Should I just replace them or try something different?

I would try replacing the whole thing on one of them and see what happens. I know that I had to replace the whole thing when I did the last trailer due to corrosion and they all worked great. Good luck and happy trails.www.treashorsetrailersales.com

Most all the running lites on trailers are grounded through the base. And quite often the problem is corrosion in the mounting fasteners. Drill the pop rivets out, clean the base, use some dielectric grease, pop in some new rivets.

Wyndancer said it. I just got done replacing all he running lights on my old stock trailer. The one piece guys either loose their ground through he rivet or the connection up to he socket for he bulb goes bad. Its pretty easy to drill out and pop a new one in.
