OK, I KNOW they go on the chest and the butt. LOL. That part I got. But is there a magic height on the chest or butt where the bars should hit?
Where the seller had the chest bar adjusted for her 15h horse, it hit my 15h horse in the neck. So, I lowered it to height that the owner's manual says should be OK for ponies. That lined up with my 15h horse's chest, which looked good to me. But I'm not sure.
Are there pictures online anywhere showing where the bars should line up on the horse?

Chest bar should be mid chest to top of chest. Don't want horse to be able to get feet over it. Butt bar mid butt is best. There is no actual "best position or height" for either bar. It varies from horse to horse.
