Yeh, $20.00 seemed like alot till I figured out how much time I spent everyday tying and untying knots. Saves a TON of time. My horses don't pull, it's more the conveniance that I like.

It's ok to see ideas like this. Look and learn. While I won't pay $26, it did give me an idea about using a ring at the bottom of my own snap. More power to people who think up new ideas ! Heck there was a time that horse hands probably pooh-pahed $20 nylon halters and now they have a half dozen $6 ones laying around the farm.

Looks like a good product for some, what I mean is how many rides and events you been on where people dont even tie a safety knot when tying their horses. But, what do you do if the horse keeps pulling when it reaches the knot on the end of the rope, no safety line to pull (cut it?)

Wow what a deal !!! looks like that horse needs one more shot.
Right between the eyes.
With a little time and maybe some ammo, this horse can be trained not to do that and then you don't need "THE CLIP"
Can't stand a disrespectfull animal. It's unsafe and expensive.Training is the key.
Tune in next week when we bring you the latest gadget called the stick. With the stick you'll never be without something to whack the dog, grandkids or old one-eye again! think of the time you can save!! availabl in varnished or plain.Order yours today, they won't last long at this price!! call BR 549 to order, operators are standing by.

Seems like it's the same. But 2 x 4's are easier to just yank off a run-in- shed or barn door when you need one in a hurry......no fuss, no muss...............

It looks EXACTLY like a standard hardware store item that could probably be had for under $5, perhaps under $3.
OK, so they show a couple of ways to loop rope through that will provide varying degrees of braking - big deal.
I have no time for what are known in tech diving circles as "suicide clips" anyway.
It really takes some imagination to believe you'd need to carry one around.
Not that many horse trailers have idler axles anyway, though it would probably work as well on the remains of your spindle if you just take off all your brake parts.
BTW, with a spindle as damaged as the one they depict I doubt the feasibility of getting the rest of the trailer anywhere.
I found it in a boat magazine, OK so I trailer boats around too (-:

Personally, I applaud people who attemp to invent things.
Me too, but I reserve my applause for credible inventions that address some need, or at least a potential need. I'm wary of rip-off items, though I'll admit to having bought more than a few items that were less than I expected )-:
